HARRISONBURG, Va., March 15, 2008 ? Redshirt junior Brett Sellers (Greencastle, Pa./Greencastle-Antrim) hit a solo home run in the eighth as James Madison University made up a 4-0 deficit to record a 5-4 decision over Towson University in a Colonial Athletic Association baseball game Saturday afternoon at Long Field/Mauck Stadium.

JMU improved to 12-3 overall and 7-1 in the CAA. The win was the eighth straight for the Dukes while improving to 7-3 at home. The win also assured JMU its fourth straight series victory of the season, third in the CAA. Towson fell to 5-9 overall and 0-5 in the CAA.

Towson scored four runs in the third inning before the Dukes plated three in the fifth and one in the sixth to tie the score at 4-4. With one out in the eighth, Sellers nailed a 1-0 pitch over the fence in right field for the game winner.

Redshirt freshman Trevor Knight (Charlottesville, Va./St. Anne's Belfield) put the Tigers down in order in the ninth with two strikeouts for his second save. Freshman Kevin Munson (Roanoke, Va./Cave Spring) retired all five batters he faced in relief with three strikeouts for his first collegiate victory.

Sellers was 3-for-4 with a double, home run, and two RBIs for JMU. He extended his career-best hitting streak to 11 games with his fifth three-hit game of the streak. Sophomore Alex Foltz (Mathias, W.Va./East Hardy) had a two-run single for JMU while redshirt junior Lee Bujakowski (Hopewell, Va./Hopewell) had the other RBI.

Senior Jon Dupski (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) took the loss for the second straight day, allowing a solo home run in both games for the game winner. He fell to 0-3.

Junior Gary Helmick (Pasadena, Md./Northeast) was the lone Tiger with multiple hits, going 2-for-5 with a run scored. Sophomore Nick Natoli (Ellicott City, Md./Mount St. Joseph) hit a three-run home run.

JMU and Towson will meet for the final game of the series on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
