Game Plan
- James Madison continues the massive homestand Wednesday evening against Longwood at the JMU Convocation Center.
- This is the third of five straight home games to open up the regular season.
- The game can be seen on MadiZONE HD SportsNet, presented by the JMU Alumni Association, while also being heard on the JMU/nTelos Wireless Broadcast Network.
- Wednesday's contest is sponsored by North 38. At halftime, students will compete in a knockout competition with the winner going home with an AppleTV. It is also a Puppy Pound game with members of the exclusive club receiving free general admission to the game with an RSVP in advance.

Scouting Report
- This is the seventh meeting all-time between the two programs with JMU holding a 4-2 record, including a perfect 3-0 mark at home. This is the first time the two teams will meet since the 2010-11 season when JMU earned its only win in three tries in Farmville with an 88-78 triumph at LU.
- In that game, Denzel Bowles recorded a double-double with 22 points and a game-high 12 rebounds to help Madison outscore LU 52-37 over the final 20 minutes to rally for the win.
- The Dukes have won two straight in the series with the Lancers' last win coming on Dec. 3, 2008 - a 79-76 win.
- JMU enters the game with a 1-1 record while Longwood comes in at 1-0.
- The Dukes evened their record on Monday night when Ron Curry hit the game-winning 3-pointer with only 3.3 seconds left to lift them to a 74-71 win over Radford. A total of four Dukes scored in double figures in the win.
- Two players recorded career-high numbers for JMU as Paulius Satkus has a career-high 11 points and added seven rebounds, a tie for his career best. Yohanny Dalembert produced career highs of four assists and three blocks vs. RU.
- The Lancers opened the season last Friday with a 79-53 win over Division III foe Averett. Ryan Badowski came off the bench to score a game-best 21 points as LU led wire-to-wire.
- JMU will have a few days off before returning to the hardwood on Monday, Nov. 24 against Colgate at 7 p.m.
