CLEMSON, S.C. – Designated hitter Reed Rohlman and right fielder Seth Beer each drove in three runs on three hits as Clemson finished a three-game sweep of James Madison in a non-conference baseball game on Sunday afternoon at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

Clemson improved to 5-1 with the victory while JMU dropped to 2-5 after its fourth straight setback.

The Dukes struck for single runs in the second and fourth, but, like Saturday, the Tigers put crooked numbers on the board with five in the second, three in the fourth and three in the sixth as part of a 15-hit attack.

Brooks Crawford earned the victory with 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief as the teams combined to use 11 pitchers in the contest. Starter
Brandon Withers suffered the loss for JMU after being unable to escape the five-run second inning, though just two of the five were earned.

Chad Carroll and
Kyle Weston each had two of JMU's eight hits with Carroll driving in a run and Weston scoring a run. Sophomore right fielder
Adam Sisk hit his first career home run to briefly put JMU on top in the second.

Beer homered to put the Tigers on top for good in the bottom of the second. He finished 3-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Rohlman was 3-for-4 with three RBIs. Shortstop Eli White was 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs.
