Junior Olivia Lehman is headed to the 2016 NCAA Diving Championships in Atlanta, Ga. taking place March 17-19 at the McAuley Aquatic Center on the campus of Georgia Tech.Â
Lehman qualified for the championships after winning the 1-meter and taking ninth in the 3-meter board at the Zone A Qualifiers Mar. 7-8 in Annapolis, Md. She is only the second diver in JMU program history to make it to the NCAA Championships and is the first-ever diver to win the 1-meter at the Zone Qualifiers. Â
All divers who qualified for the championship meet will compete in the diving trials. The top eight finishers from the trials will advance to the championship final while divers finishing ninth through 16th will compete in the consolation final.Â
