HARRISONBURG, Va. - William & Mary jumped out to an 11-2 lead in the first five innings and never looked back as it dealt James Madison an 11-4 loss on Saturday afternoon in the second installment of a three-game Colonial Athletic Association series at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park.

W&M improved to 16-18 (5-5 CAA) with the win, while the Dukes fell to 15-20 (5-6 CAA) on an afternoon that saw four of their eight hits go for extra bases.

Junior catcher Zach Tondiwas the only Duke to tally multiple hits on the afternoon, going 2-for-2 with a double, an RBI and a run. Six other players picked up a hit for JMU, with sophomores Kyle McPhersonand Tanner Dofflemyer each adding a double and sophomore Logan Quimuyogbelting his first career triple to right-center to open the fifth inning.

Sophomore left-hander Tucker McCoywas the last and best of four JMU pitchers on the afternoon, stemming the flow with 4 2/3 scoreless innings that saw him yield just three hits and no walks while striking out four. Sophomore starter Colton Harlow took the loss for JMU to fall to 2-4.

Left fielder Ryan Hall and right fielder Charles Ameer each notched three hits to pace a Tribe offense that saw every starter pick up at least one hit and six different players drive in runs. W&M starter Bodie Sheehan (3-3) went eight innings en route to the win, striking out three while scattering eight hits and all four runs.

The two teams alternated their scoring early on, with W&M tallying a run in both the first and third innings and sophomore right fielder Adam Siskadding an RBI single for JMU in the second, before the Tribe broke the game open in the top of the fourth with six runs on four singles, two walks, two hit-by-pitches and an error to make it 8-1.

JMU responded with a run in the bottom half of the frame on McPherson's RBI double, but W&M added three runs on three hits in the fifth to make it 11-2 and put things out of reach for the Dukes.

Junior Ky Parrottbounced this RBI single through the right side to extend his career-best reached-base streak to 18 games and cut the lead to 11-4 in the seventh inning.
SETTING THE TABLE
Junior left fielder Ky Parrott, who homered on his first pitch on Friday night, took slightly longer to extend his career-long 18-game reached-base streak on Saturday, singling through the right side with one out in the seventh.

Parrott opened the season with a career-best 16-game streak, which ended after an 0-for-1 pinch-hit appearance against Monmouth on March 15. He then began his current streak in the very next contest, meaning the Herndon, Va. native has reached base in 34 of 35 games this season and has done so in all 34 contests in which he has started.
