JMU looks to continue its four-game win streak, including their first 3-0 start in Colonial Athletic Association play since the 1994-95 season.
The Dukes most recently took down Hofstra 62-54 on Thursday night in Hempstead, N.Y.
Senior forward Paulius Satkus led the Dukes with 13 points. It was his third double-digit scoring performance in the last four games.
JMU continues to excel on defense, holding Hofstra to their lowest point total of the season, including just 21 second-half points. In the previous game, the Dukes held Towson to 44 points.
Despite facing Division I's top individual rebounder, the Dukes won the battle on the boards 35-26.
Northeastern has also had a hot start to conference play, including large margins of victory over William & Mary (84-64) and Delaware (90-54).
The Huskies made a school-record 21 three-point field goals in the win over Delaware on Thursday.
Senior guard T.J. Williams leads Northeastern with 21.1 points and 6.1 assists per game.
Northeastern holds a 15-6 advantage in the all-time series, including a 5-3 edge in Boston.
These teams split their matchup last season, with JMU winning 75-63 on Jan. 14 in Boston and Northeastern winning a wild game 95-94 in triple overtime in Harrisonburg on Feb. 18.
