NEWARK, Del. – An 87^th-minute goal by sophomore Brennen Burton allowed the James Madison men's soccer team to defeat Delaware, 2-1 on Wednesday for the teams' first road match win of the season. Following the win, the Dukes improve to 5-5-3 (2-1-2 CAA) while the Blue Hens fall to 5-5-2 (2-3-1 CAA) on the year.

The Dukes outshot the Blue Hens 17 to seven with eight shots on goal. JMU held Delaware to just two corner kicks which both came in the second half of action while JMU took eight corners. Redshirt freshman TJ Bush tallied three saves on the night and improved to 3-3-1 on the season.
