CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va – Led by three top-50 finishers, the James Madison cross country team placed 12
th out of 37 teams at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships on Friday.
RACE RECAP
The Dukes tallied 323 points with an average 6k time of 21:58. Senior
Carol Strock paced the Dukes with a time of 21:31.9 which placed her 38
th out of 257 runners. Sophomores
Emily Murphy and
Caitlin Swanson rounded out the top-three finishers for the Dukes with 42
nd and 49
th finishes, respectively. NC State won the Championships for its second consecutive year.
