James Madison got career-high scoring performances from Ivan Lukic and Ramone Snowden to hold onto a crucial 95-92 overtime win over William & Mary on Thursday night.
The Dukes' 95 points were the most for JMU since scoring 98 on Feb. 7, 2016, which came in an overtime triumph over Hofstra at home.
Lukic had a career-high 19 points, six rebounds and two blocks, while Snowden tallied a career-best 18 points and matched his career high of eight boards.
JMU is now 6-9 in league play, just one game back of sixth-place Northeastern to earn a bye out of the first round of the CAA Tournament.
Senior guard Jackson Kent leads JMU with 14.3 points per game, including 16.4 in conference games.
Towson has won five straight games and 10 of its last 11 to improve to 18-10 (10-5 CAA) and climb into sole possession of third place in the league.
