Olivia Miller tallied a season-high five saves to lead the James Madison women's soccer team to a 1-0 Colonial Athletic Association victory over Elon on Sunday afternoon at Rudd Field. The win, JMU's second in as many league matches, pushed the Dukes to 7-4 (2-0 CAA), while the Phoenix dropped to 7-3-2 (0-1-1 CAA).

HOW THEY SCORED
25' | Deel opened the scoring in traffic within the first half-hour. Sophomore
Haley Crawford pushed her dribble to the endline before pulling a pass back to junior
Stephanie Hendrie, who deflected the ball towards the six-yard box with the back of her heel. Deel jumped on the loose pass and buried the shot from close range to provide the gamewinner.

QUOTING COACH LOMBARDO
"Today was a great display of grit for us. We battled through a hot day on the road, an injury during the match and facing the most explosive offense in the league and we found a way to get a big 1-0 shutout. I'm really proud of this group."
