HARRISONBURG, Va. – Sixth-ranked James Madison heads back out on the road this weekend, as it travels just outside of Philadelphia to battle Villanova in Colonial Athletic Association Football action.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Villanova Stadium and will be televised on FOX College Sports. It will also be streamed live on FOX Sports Go, and Comcast/Xfinity customers can access the feed through CAA.TV for a nominal fee. SERIES HISTORY
Saturday marks the 27th meeting all-time, with the Dukes leading 15-11. JMU has won three straight in the series, including a 30-8 win last season in Harrisonburg. JMU is 6-7 all-time at VU.
JMU FALLS LATE TO ELON, ENDING CAA AND HOME WIN STREAKS
Elon scored the go-ahead touchdown with 1:17 to play and secured the win against JMU with an interception on the ensuing drive to earn a 27-24 win in Harrisonburg. The loss ended JMU's 19-game home win streak and 20-game CAA win streak, marking the first loss at Bridgeforth Stadium since 2015. It also marked Elon's first win vs. JMU in the seven-game series.Â
Ben DiNucci was 24-of-41 for a career-high 316 yards and touchdown, with Riley Stapleton reeling in seven catches for 99 yards and a touchdown. Kyndel Dean also made six catches for 96 yards. Ethan Ratke set a program record with four field goals and Dimitri Holloway had a game-high 12 tackles.Â
For Elon, Davis Cheek threw for 286 yards and a score, and Malcolm Summers ran for 186 yards and a touchdown.

SCOUTING VILLANOVA
The Wildcats enter the week with a 3-3 overall record and are still looking for their first conference win, with an 0-3 mark. Last week, VU dropped a 13-10 decision at Maine, falling on a 52-yard field goal by the Black Bears as time expired.
Villanova scores 28.5 points per game while allowing 20.0 points to its foes. The Wildcats pass for 258.3 yards per game and hold opponents to 105 rush yards per outing.
Zach Bednarczyk has thrown for 1,319 yards and 12 touchdowns, and Aaron Forbes leads the ground attack with 400 yards and four scores. VU's top receiving threat is Jarrett McClenton, who has 25 catches for 410 yards and five TDs. Ryan Bell also has 22 grabs for 246 yards and four touchdowns. Jeff Steeb has 5.0 tackles for loss with 2.5 sacks and two interceptions to lead the defense. Malik Fisher also has 6.5 TFLs and 3.0 sacks.
Mark Ferrante is in his second season at the helm, holding an 8-9 record. Prior to being named head coach, he was a 30-year assistant under Andy Talley, including the last 18 as assistant head coach.
DUKES' AT 'NOVA HISTORY
JMU heads to Villanova this weekend for its 14th game all-time at Villanova Stadium. The Dukes are 6-7 in road games in the series, with the previous outing being one of the best against VU, ever. The Dukes claimed the 2016 outright CAA championship with a 20-7 win on Nov. 12, 2016, forcing a turnover late to set up the insurance touchdown. It was JMU's first win at Villanova since 2008, when Rodney Landers had a Hail Mary touchdown as time expired for a 23-19 win. In 2004, JMU won 17-0 at then-No. 5 Villanova, which was the highest a 'Nova team was ranked in a JMU win.
DUKES FROM PENNSYLVANIA
JMU has six current student-athletes who call Pennsylvania home. Four are from Western PA in Ben DiNucci, Riley and Dylan Stapleton and Darrious Carter. Jake Glavin hails from Chester Springs, which is a short 19-mile drive to Villanova's campus. Drew Painter is also from Hershey.

Nikki Newman will provide additional analysis from the sideline at every home game. The pregame show begins this week at noon, ahead of the 1 p.m. kickoff.Â
