BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - The James Madison men's golf team closed out its third tournament of the season on Tuesday evening, taking home fourth place at the Health Plan Mountaineer Invitational, hosted by West Virginia at the par-72, 7,308-yard Pete Dye Golf Club.

The Dukes posted a final round of 308 (+20) on the day to keep their hold on fourth at the 14-team tournament, with host West Virginia taking home the team title.

Senior
Ben Tucker and junior
Ryan Cox led the way for JMU, finishing with rounds of 4-over 76 on the afternoon, taking home ties for 13th and 49th, respectively, while junior
Walker Cress joined Tucker in a tie for 13th after a final-round 6-over 78.

Sophomore
Ignacio Montero (76-71-80) finished tied for 27th, while freshman
Nick Schlickenrieder (73-81-78) was tied for 43rd at day's end.

Playing as an individual, freshman
George Heath used a final round of 4-over 76 to take home a tie for 30th in his second collegiate tournament.
