James Madison is set to welcome local foe Bridgewater College to the Convocation Center on Monday, Nov. 12 for a 7 p.m. tip.
The Dukes are coming off a buzzer-beater win against ECU, as redshirt senior Stuckey Mosley banked home a running jump shot from the left wing to lift JMU 73-72 as time expired.
For the second consecutive game, sophomore Darius Banks led the Dukes in scoring as he racked up 19 points against the Pirates.
Four Dukes tallied double-digit points in the win: Banks (19), Mosley (16), Matt Lewis (11) and Dwight Wilson (10).
The Dukes forced 23 turnovers on the evening, tallying 14 steals for the second straight game.
JMU leads the all-time series 8-0 over Bridgewater. The two programs last met on November 10, 2017, when the Dukes rolled past the Eagles, 80-50, in their season opener.
Bridgewater does not have a single senior on its roster, but returns five juniors and five sophomores while welcoming five newcomers to the program.
Sophomore guard Dimetri Chambers looks to head the Eagle's offense after being named the 2017-2018 ODAC Rookie of the Year, averaging 15.3 points per game.
