Â
Freshman

James Madison's closest attempt to tying the game came in the third inning as senior

QUOTING COACH IKE
"I thought Stewart did a great job for us pitching six innings and Richards did a great job as well following behind Stewart and putting up zeros. Our pitching staff has done an unbelievable job. Tip my cap to St. Bonaventure's pitchers for pitching the way they did in the game and their right fielder for making two incredible plays in the ninth to close out the game. That's what baseball is, it's which team can get 27 outs the fastest and not making that play in the first was the difference in this game."
