Â
Freshman
Hunter Johnson accounted for JMU's only run with his first career home run in a 2-for-3 outing which is his first multi-hit game of the season along with a run scored and a RBI. Seniors

Â
Johnson tallied his solo shot in the seventh then in the eighth inning Delaware's junior Nick Patten hit a solo shot, leading to the final score, 5-1.
Â
QUOTING COACH IKE
"We had opportunities to score but could not get that big hit when we needed it. Harlow did a good job of pitching a complete game after getting down early, which is hard to do. I was proud of how we played defense tonight. We play a three-game series for a reason and tonight just wasn't our night and that happens in baseball."

UP NEXT
