JMU will host the NCAA Championship First and Second Rounds on Friday, May 11 and Sunday, May 13 at Sentara Park.
The Dukes earned the No. 3 overall seed and will host Virginia and Stanford, which will meet in the first round.
The winner advances to Sunday's second round to play the host Dukes.
Two conference champions are at the Harrisonburg Pod, as the Dukes claimed the Colonial Athletic Association title, and Stanford won the inaugural Pac-12 championship. Virginia was fourth in the Atlantic Coast Conference, falling the conference quarterfinals.
JMU is making its 15th appearance in the NCAA Championship, as it holds an 8-14 record. JMU is 6-3 in games played in Harrisonburg, as it will host its first home tournament game since 2011.
Regardless of who advances past the first round, it will mark JMU's third meeting in the postseason against either team.
The Dukes are 2-0 against Virginia, having won in 2000 at home (12-5) and 2001 in Charlottesville (11-8). JMU and Stanford are 1-1 in the NCAA Championship, with the Dukes claiming a home win in 2010 (9-8) and the Cardinal taking a neutral-site game at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in 2016 (8-9).

Tickets are $5 per game and seating is general admission at Sentara Park.
They can be purchased online at JMUTickets.com on the phone at 540-568-3853 or at the entrances nearest the U4 and U5 lots on game day.
JMU students will be admitted free with their JMU JACard.
