HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison volleyball collected its third consecutive Colonial Athletic Association victory after sweeping Delaware, 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-23), Sunday afternoon in Sinclair gym.

The Dukes (11-3, 3-0 CAA) notched their first three-set conference win. Despite staying close in the final set, the Blue Hens (6-8, 0-2 CAA) were swept in their fourth straight match.

With 14 kills, junior
Briley Brind'Amour lead the match while junior
Sarah Martin notched 38 assists – eight more than the entire Delaware team. Junior
Sarah Driscoll produced a match-leading 20 digs and junior
M'Kaela White had three blocks for a match high.

MATCH NOTES
- Recording 12 kills and 15 digs,
Bryn Recker posted her tenth double-double on the season. This is the first season in her career in which she's tallied double digit double-doubles. Â
- With nine digs, Martin was one away from also posting a double-double.
- White hit a team-leading .308 with six kills and 13 attempts.

Jacqui Koebel added back-to-back service aces during the second set in the midst of an 8-0 run. She now leads the Dukes with 15 on the season.

Tilbe Yaglioglu also slated a service ace apiece in today's win.
- On four separate occasions, JMU hit runs of five points or more – one in the first set, two in the second and one in the third.
- The Dukes outperformed the Blue Hens in every category: 47 to 32 kills, four to one aces, five to four blocks, 44 to 30 assists. 63 to 54 digs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Dukes pulled away from a 4-4 tie in the first with an 8-0 run that contained three kills from Recker, a Gail kill, an ace from White and a block from Gail and Martin. JMU then closed out the set a 6-1 run in which it slated five kills from Recker and White.
- Six consecutive points pulled the Dukes into the lead in the second and, as the Blue Hens tried to close the gap, an 8-0 run brought the Dukes up by double digits. Though Delaware held JMU to match point for seven rallies, Brind'Amour slammed down a spike to take it.
- In the final set, a block from Recker and Gail set off a 5-0 Dukes run. Delaware stuck close behind as the crews began trading points. Again, Brind'Amour closed out the set, claiming the Dukes' third consecutive CAA victory.
