Know Before You Go: Convocation Center Traffic Pattern

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison will begin its 2026 volleyball season, presented by LD&B Insurance at home on Friday, August 28 against Loyola Maryland.

Fans should be aware of important traffic information as they make their way to the Convocation Center for matches this season. As part of JMU's University Blvd. project, travel routes may be impacted due to ongoing construction.

From the 81 North: (895 University Blvd., Harrisonburg, VA 22807)
Interstate 81 take Exit 245, Port Republic Road.
• Go straight through light onto Forest Hill Road.
• Continue onto University Blvd.
• Turn left on Driver Drive
• Turn Right into the Convocation Center Parking Lot

From the 81 South: (895 University Blvd., Harrisonburg, VA 22807)
Interstate 81 take Exit 245, Port Republic Road.
• Take left onto Port Republic Road from light.
• Turn left onto Forest Hill Road (2nd light).
• Continue onto University Blvd.
• Turn left on Driver Drive
• Turn Right into the Convocation Center Parking Lot
