James Madison will host William & Mary in a Colonial Athletic Association matchup on Friday, Jan. 25. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. in the Convocation Center.
The Dukes enter play with a 7-0 record at home this season and host two games this weekend.
Despite a loss to UNCW last Friday, the Dukes bounced back against the College of Charleston, taking down the Cougars 91-50 on the road. Junior Kamiah Smalls led JMU in scoring with 19 points while senior Logan Reynolds had a career-high six steals and tied her season-high seven assists.
Four Dukes scored in double figures last weekend against College of Charleston: Smalls (19), Lexie Barrier (15), Jackie Benitez (12) and Aneah Young (10). Juniors Devon Merritt and Kayla Cooper-Williams had a block party, tallying five and four rejections, respectively.
Junior Guard, Kamiah Smalls leads the Dukes in scoring with 18.2 points per game and is second on the team in assists with 42.
The Dukes lead the all-time series against the Tribe 69-17, and have won four of the last five meetings, including two inside the Convocation Center.
Tribe edged the Phoenix last Sunday, defeating Elon 65-60 on their home court. Three Tribe players had double-digit scoring performances: Bianca Boggs (13), Harper Birdsong (13) and Victoria Reynolds (11).
In the win over Elon, the Tribe was out-rebounded 42-26 but limited the Phoenix to only nine points in the final frame.
