James Madison is set to host Hofstra for its first Colonial Athletic Association contest at the Convocation Center this season on Friday, Jan. 11. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Dukes are one of three programs that went 2-0 in the opening weekend of CAA play.
In the 51-35 win over Drexel on Sunday afternoon, redshirt junior Kayla Cooper-Williams dominated both sides of the ball, earning a double-double from 12 points and 11 boards. Juniors Kamiah Smalls and Lexie Bariier also added 12 points apiece in the contest.
JMU out-rebounded Hofstra 46-28, 19 of which were offensive boards.
Smalls leads the team offensively, averaging 17.5 points per game while Cooper-Williams averages 10.2 rebounds per game.
The Dukes hold a 23-9 all-time record against the Pride and defeated Hofstra in both contests last season.
Hofstra opened conference action at 0-2 and are coming off a 77-64 loss to Elon on Sunday in Hempstead, N.Y. Three players scored in double-digits against the Phoenix: senior Boogie Brozoski (15), junior Ana Hernandez Gil (14) and junior E'Lexus Davis (13).
Brozoski is averaging 15 points per contest while senior Sica Cuzic averages 11.1 points and is third in the conference with 7.4 rebounds per game.
