- James Madison women's basketball hosts Maryland at the Convocation Center at 7 p.m.
- This is the second of two doubleheaders with the JMU men's basketball team. The women are set to play after the men's team.
- JMU has started the season 2-0 with victories over Longwood and Villanova
- JMU defeated Villanova on the road 56-52. Kamiah Smalls and Lexie Barrier combined for 42 of JMU's points
- Kamiah Smalls led the way with 22 points. Lexie Barrier added 20 points in the victory.
- Kayla Cooper-Williams grabbed a game-high 10 of JMU's 46 rebounds. She also rejected two shots.
- This was JMU's first time beating Villanova and first time playing the Wildcats at Villanova.
- Freshman Kiki Jefferson was named the CAA Rookie of the Week. She shot 50% from the floor and behind the arc in JMU's season opener against Longwood where she scored 17 points. She flirted with a double-double that game grabbing nine rebounds. At Villanova she dished out an assist, swiped the ball once and had two blocks.
- James Madison has received votes in the USA Today/WBCA Coaches Poll. This is the first time JMU has received votes in the Coaches Poll since March 12, 2019.
- The Dukes are also ranked No. 7 in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Poll. Last season, JMU started ranked No. 12 and had the highest ranking of No. 8 after being ranked in all 17 weeks of the poll.
- Maryland is 1-1 on the season with their loss coming at the hands of No. 8 South Carolina at Maryland on Sunday, 63-54
- The Terps shot 31.4 percent from the field (22-70) in the loss.
- Freshman Ashley Owusu led all scorers with 17 points, shooting 50-percent from the field (7-14). She led the Terps with seven rebounds and three assists.

- All fans who purchased a ticket to the men's game will have access to the women's game -- fans are just asked to move to general admission after the men's game
- All fans with a reserved 'R' lot parking pass have access to 'R' lot at anytime on Wednesday, but will be blocked from parking in the men's 'E' lot
- Fans are asked to park in R10/R11 - A free shuttle will run 2.5 hours prior to game time with doors opening one hour prior to tip and will run throughout the game and postgame
- ADA Parking - Available to the public in lot R11. A handicapped accessible shuttle is provided from this lot to the arena
