- JMU plays Virginia in the Cavalier Classic at John Paul Jones Arena at 2pm on Saturday, Nov. 30. Then they will wrap up play against UCF at 1pm on Sunday, Dec. 1.

- JMU has held four of their six opponents under 60 points. The Dukes have won all four of the games when holding opponents below 60. Last season, in the first six games, JMU held five of the six opponents under 60.Â
- The Black Knights defeated Pitt, Stephen F. Austin, CAA opponent Delaware and Stetson before taking part in the Cavalier Classic. UCF's losses are to Belmont and Florida Gulf Coast.
