WHAT COACH IKE HAD TO SAY
"I really thought we showed a lot of energy this evening in both games. Both our starting pitchers got into grooves early and I was really impressed with the way they handled different situations. Brett came in during the second game and was on another level. During that stretch of six strikeouts he really showed what he had been working with this offseason and what he is capable of night in and night out. I was pleased with how our bats came alive in both games. Trevon had a good night at the plate and stepped up with clutch hits when needed.
Brady Harju was another guy that I enjoyed to see swinging the bat well. He had a good game one and was able to work some hitters counts and see the ball well."
