Dennis Mensah Earns CAA Rookie of the Week Honors

RICHMOND, Va. –Freshman forward Dennis Mensah was named CAA Rookie of the Week for his three-goal performance in the Dukes 6-0 victory over Elon.
Mensah came off the bench for JMU Saturday, scoring a hat trick in 10 minutes of work. The freshman notched his first collegiate goal in the 31stminute of play. Mensah then added his second in the 35thminute, before capping off the half with his third in the 41stminute.
The Dukes will return home posting a 3-2-0 record overall and a 2-0-0 record in conference play. JMU hosts No. 1 Wake Forest Tuesday at Sentara Park. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
