HARRISONBURG, Va. - Freshman forward
Justin Amadi notched his first collegiate double-double on Sunday evening, but Morgan State would close the game on a 14-2 run to hand James Madison an 80-73 loss in non-conference men's basketball at the Atlantic Union Bank Center.
The Dukes (3-4) led by seven with less than nine minutes left and held a 71-66 advantage at the 3:20 mark, but MSU (4-2) yielded just one basket the rest of the way, hitting all four of its shots from the field and five of six free throws to turn the tide.
Amadi tallied 12 points and a career-high 10 rebounds in the loss, hitting four of his seven shots while adding a steal and a block on the evening. Senior guard
Matt Lewis led all scorers with 21 points, tacking on four rebounds and four assists in his fourth 20-point effort of the season.
De'Torrion Ware paced the Bears in their win, racking up 18 points in just 21 minutes with the help of three three-pointers.

I thought it just came down to toughness - whether it's mental or physical toughness, we have to make sure we bring more of that to the court.
