BOSTON – Sophomore
Miranda Stanhope was the second runner to cross the finish line as James Madison cross country finished fourth at the Colonial Athletic Association Championship Saturday morning at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass.

The Dukes collected 85 points in their fourth-place finish as they trailed behind third-place Delaware (66 points), second-place Northeastern (66 points) and the 2021 CAA Champions Elon (27 points).Â
Stanhope was the CAA runner-up for the second-straight season with her time of 21:44.40. She was the lone Duke to earn All-CAA honors.

"Miranda ran a tough race in difficult conditions," commented head coach
Dave Rinker. "Maddy broke out with her best race of the year when we really needed it. Sofia ran very well in her debut. We still have not put it all together, but I think we are getting closer."
