James Madison welcomes the fourth-ranked Maryland Terrapins to the Atlantic Union Bank Center on Sunday, Nov. 14. The game is slated for a 2 p.m. tip-off on FloSports.
The Dukes are coming off a 84-69 win over Virginia. Junior Kiki Jefferson tied her career-high of 31 points and pulled down 11 boards for her first double-double of the season.
Sophomore Jamia Hazell added 17 points in the victory while classmate Claire Neff chipped in 14 points on 4-of-7 shooting, three of which came from long range.

SCOUTING THE TERRAPINS

In the Associated Press preseason poll, Maryland found themselves ranked fourth in the nation.
A handful of Terps were honored with preseason honors. Junior duo Ashley Owusu and Diamond Miller were both named to the Wooden Award Top 50, "Wade Watch" and Naismith Trophy watch lists. Owusu was also tabbed to the Lieberman Award Watch List while Miller was named to the Ann Meyer Drysdale Watch List alongside teammate Katie Benzan.
Chloe Bibby rounded out the Terps preseason watch list awards with her spot on the Cheryl Miller Award Watch List.
Maryland opened the season with back-to-back wins over Longwood (97-67) and Villanova (88-67).
Currently leading the Terps is Angel Reese who is averaging 22 points an outing. The sophomore posted a double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds against Longwood and tallied 21 points against Villanova.

SERIES HISTORY

Maryland holds an 11-1 advantage in the all-time series against the Dukes.
The two teams last met on Dec. 19, 2020 in College Park, Md., where JMU fell 101-59.
JMU beat Maryland in the first game between the two programs on Feb. 15, 1974, where the Dukes won 66-52.
