Field Hockey Announces Four Signees

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison field hockey signed four future Dukes to National Letters of Intent as announced by head coach Christy Morgan.

Joining the Dukes next fall are Lila Harlock, Alice Roeper, Madline Tierney and Skyler Brown. The group will enroll and begin playing for the Dukes in the fall of 2022.

"This class has such an amazing personality," said head coach Christy Morgan. "They will be a joy to coach and will help take our program to the next level."

Name: Lila Harlock
Height: 5-9
Hometown/ High School: Ann Arbor, Mich. // Ann Arbor Pioneer High School
Career Highlights: Named runner up for the state field hockey team her sophomore, junior, and senior years… named Michigan High School Athlete of the Week… Plays for Pinnacle Field Hockey Club
Coach Morgan's Thoughts: "Lila brings great emotion, desire and she can score goals. She's the kind of person that you just want to be around because she will brighten your day!"

Name: Alice Roeper
Height: 5-6
Hometown/ High School: Den Haag, The Netherlands // Segbroek College
Career Highlights: Member of the 2018 National Dutch U15 team… Plays for Hockeyclub GFC
Coach Morgan's Thoughts: "Alice brings skill, experience, and passion to the program. She's a high-performance athlete with the desire and the ability to be an impact player. She will fit perfectly with the culture both on and off the field."

Height: 5-9
Hometown/ High School: Fredricksburg, Va. // James Monroe Highschool
