JMU Welcomes Robert Morris to Town for Saturday Matchup

HARRISONBURG, Va. – The James Madison football team is back home for the second consecutive week, as it plays host to Robert Morris on Saturday, Feb. 27.

Kickoff is set for noon at Bridgeforth Stadium and will be televised on NBC Sports Washington Plus. The game will also be streamed on FloFootball and can be heard on the JMU Glo Fiber Broadcast Network, with pregame coverage beginning at 11 a.m.

Second meeting all-time between JMU and Robert Morris
JMU leads series 1-0, winning the inaugural meeting 73-7 on Sept. 13, 2018
In that game, JMU scored a single-half record of 52 points in the first half and gained 667 yards of offense, playing in the program's only Thursday game in team history.
Ben DiNucci accounted for five total touchdowns, passing for three and running two in, while Jimmy Moreland had a pick-six to set the JMU career interceptions record.
 DUKES BLANK EAGLES IN OPENER
JMU opened the 2020-21 season in shutout fashion, cruising to a 52-0 win against Morehead State.
The Dukes rushed for 369 yards, led by Percy Agyei-Obese, who ran for 116 yards with a touchdown. Four players ran for at least 60 yards, as Latrele Palmer had 90 yards and two touchdowns, Solomon Vanhorse tallied 82 and a score and Jawon Hamilton rushed for 68, finding the endzone twice.
On the opposite side, MSU never established much offense, as JMU held the visitors to -6 rushing yards and 98 total yards on the afternoon.
It was the Dukes' 28th shutout win in school history, as they have held an opponent scoreless in four straight seasons
