HARRISONBURG, Va. - After capturing the 2021 Colonial Athletic Association Championship earlier this month, the James Madison women's golf team has been selected to travel to the NCAA Louisville Women's Golf Regional, hosted at the University of Louisville Golf Club on May 10-12.

The 54-hole competition will mark the Dukes' return to regional action for the first time since the 2012-13 season and the first trip under Head Coach
Tommy Baker.

The Dukes will be joined at the Louisville Regional by 17 other teams - South Carolina, Florida State, Auburn, Texas, Arkansas, Texas Tech, UCLA, Michigan State, UCF, Tennessee, North Florida, Louisville, UTSA, Mercer, College of Charleston, Xavier and Fairleigh Dickinson.

Six teams and three individuals will advance from each of the four regionals to participate in the NCAA National Championships, hosted at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. On May 21-26.

JMU earned the CAA's automatic bid to NCAA Regionals by
erasing a 16-shot final-round deficit to capture the fifth title in program history back on April 13. Redshirt freshman
Kendall Turner also took home the individual title, trailing by four shots with five holes to play before winning the championship outright with a par on the 18th hole.
