BLACKSBURG, Va. – James Madison women's tennis won three flight titles, as the Dukes wrapped up their first tournament of the fall at the Hokie Fall Invite Sunday at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center.

Senior Amanda Nord led the charge for the Dukes, winning her singles and doubles flights with redshirt junior Natalia Nikolopoulou. Nord defeated Yelizaveta Karlova from VCU, 6-1, 6-2 in the finals of the grey singles flight. Nord and Nikolopoulou came out victorious in the indoors doubles flight, beating the VCU duo of Shivanni Manjanna and Yelizaveta Karlova, 8-5. Nord was the only player at the tournament to win all her matches, both singles and doubles.

The third flight finals victory came by way of the doubles team of redshirt juniors Daria Afanasyeva and Kylie Moulin. They earned an 8-3 victory over Katie Andreini and Annie Clark from Virginia Tech in the outdoors doubles flight, sweeping the doubles flight titles for the Dukes.

Two other Dukes, Nikolopoulou and senior Michelle Los Arcos, advanced to their respective singles flight finals, ultimately falling just short of victory.

Multiple other Dukes picked up victories as well today. Freshman Alexandra Prudente earned a straight-set victory over Penn State's Sydney Weinberg, 6-4, 6-2. Redshirt junior Daniela Voloh won her consolation match, defeating Charlotte Cartledge of Virginia Tech, 6-2, 6-2. Kylie Moulin also won her final match of the tournament, beating Virginia Tech's Sabina Richtrova, 6-3, 6-2.

Two more doubles pairings won their final matches, Los Arcos and Prudente overcame PSU's Sydney Weinberg Gracey Hirsh, 8-5, and senior Shannon McCarthy and teammate Lea Rolland from West Virginia State defeated Paula Saez-Raez and Victoria Cabral from Bluefield State, 8-4.
