NEWARK, Del. — The James Madison women's basketball team fell to Delaware 64-57 Tuesday evening at the Bob Carpenter Center. The Dukes fall to 6-9 (2-2 CAA) while the Blue Hens improve to 10-4 (4-0 CAA).

JMU struggled to score in the first half, shooting just 23.1% (9-39) from the floor, 10% (1-10) from three-point range and 37.5% (3-8) from the foul line. The Dukes shot much better from the field after the break (40%), but still struggled from beyond the arc (18.2%) and the charity stripe (45.5%).

Kiki Jefferson registered her second-straight double-double as she led the Dukes in scoring with 26 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.

Delaware was led by Jasmine Dickey, who scored 19 of her 26 points in the first half. Dickey finished with game-highs of 14 rebounds, five blocks and four assists.

First Quarter: Delaware 17, JMU 12
- Dickey controlled the tempo of the first quarter as she scored 15 of Delaware's 17 first-quarter points
- JMU went on a 6-0 run to tie the game at 12 with 2:02 to play in the opening frame.
- However, Dickey used a layup and a three-pointer at the buzzer to give the Blue Hens a five-point lead.
Second Quarter: Delaware 30, JMU 22
- Delaware opened the second quarter with 10 unanswered points to go up 25-12.
- JMU was held scoreless until Jefferson hit a layup at 7:32.
- Jefferson went on to score eight of the Dukes' 10 second-quarter points.

Third Quarter: Delaware 43, JMU 39
- The Dukes outscored Delaware 17-13 after the break as the shot 44.4% (8-18) from the floor.

Madison Green knocked down a triple in the final seconds of the quarter to cut the Dukes' deficit to four.
Fourth Quarter: Delaware 64, JMU 57
- JMU opened the final quarter with back-to-back buckets to tie the game at 43.
- The Blue Hens answered with a 10-0 run and held the Dukes scoreless for over four minutes.
- At 1:29, Green hit another clutch three to bring JMU within eight points.
- Jefferson knocked down four foul shots and a layup to cut the deficit to four, but Delaware collected three free throws in the final 10 seconds to walk away with the win.
