CHARLESTON, S.C. – James Madison quarterback Cole Johnson has been chosen as the 2021 winner of the CFPA FCS National Performer of the Year Trophy, the College Football Performance Awards announced.
Â
Johnson becomes the second JMU recipient of the award, joining Bryan Schor in 2016. He was chosen from a list of 34 student-athletes who were named to the midseason watch list.
