THE DUKES

The James Madison Dukes welcome the Elon Phoenix for a Sunday afternoon matchup on Jan. 9 at 1 p.m.
The Dukes topped William & Mary 67-39 on Friday, Jan. 7 in Harrisonburg.
Annalicia Goodman recorded her first career double-double as she led all players with 16 points and 12 rebounds. The forward finished the night shooting 66.7% from the floor.
Jamia Hazell was the only other Duke to finish in double figures with 12 points.
The Dukes shot a season-best 48.3% from the floor while holding William & Mary to just 25%, the lowest of any JMU opponent thus far this season.
Junior guard Kiki Jefferson is JMU's leading scorer, averaging 17.6 points per game.
Leading the Dukes on the boards is Jaylin Carodine with 9.4 rebounds per outing.

SCOUTING THE PHOENIX

Elon arrives in Harrisonburg following a 66-54 loss at Towson on Friday, Jan. 7.
Evonna McGill led the Phoenix with 14 points followed by Ajia James with 13 and Brie Perpignan with 11.
Perpignan averages 6.5 assists per game to rank fifth in the nation. The guard has recorded two games with 10 or more assists.
Perpignan is also Elon's leading scorer with 13.3 points per game.
Kayla Liles averages 6.2 rebounds per outing to lead the Phoenix on the boards.
Elon is shooting 40.6% from the floor so far this season, ranking fifth in the conference.

SERIES HISTORY

JMU leads the all-time series against the Phoenix, 15-5.
The Dukes won the last two matchups against Elon in back-to-back games last season in Harrisonburg.
The first meeting between the two programs came on March 9, 1974. JMU fell to the Phoenix 68-56 at home.
