THE DUKES
- The Dukes are set to host Queens (N.C.) on Sunday, Nov. 13 within the friendly confines of the Atlantic Union Bank Center. The opening tip is scheduled for 2 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+. Fans can also listen to the game on 92.1FM & 550AM WSVA where Corey Spector will have the call.
- Last time out, James Madison saw 11 Dukes score in an 80-39 victory at Millersville on Nov. 9. JMU was led by senior guard Kiki Jefferson who posted 21 points and seven rebounds in 20 minutes of action. Junior center Kseniia Kozlova tied her career-high with 10 points, while classmate Claire Neff also scored 10 after knocking down a trio of three-pointers.
- With a 21-point performance on Wednesday, Jefferson has scored at least 20 points in five straight outings, extending her streak from last season.
- JMU connected on eight triples against the Marauders, the most for the program since hitting nine last season at Northeastern on Feb. 25.
- James Madison also held Millersville to just 39 points, the lowest point production by an opponent since William & Mary managed to score just 39 against the Dukes on Jan. 7, 2022. Additionally, the Marauders did not secure an offensive rebound in the contest. This is the first time in Head Coach Sean O'Regan's tenure that his team has not allowed an offensive board.
SCOUTING THE ROYALS
- Queens (N.C.) has opened up its first season at the Division I level with a 2-0 record. The Royals most recently topped SC State 50-41 on Nov. 10.
- Redshirt freshman Jordyn Weaver is off to a hot start for Queens (N.C.), recording double-doubles in the program's opening two games. The forward is averaging 15.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per outing.
- Royal's Head Coach Jen Brown has close ties with James Madison. Brown played for the Dukes from 2005-08 helping lead JMU to a 75-23 (.761) record. During Brown's junior season, JMU compiled a 27-6 record, was runner-up in the CAA Tournament, and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
- Brown also spent six seasons as an assistant coach at her alma mater, James Madison University. In that time, the Dukes had a .797 winning percentage (165-42) which included six-consecutive 25-plus win seasons. They also won four CAA Regular Season Championships and four CAA Tournament Championships while also making four NCAA Tournament appearances.

- Sunday's game will be the first meeting between James Madison and Queens (N.C.).
