HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison football has announced a home-and-home series with Utah State and a change to a future game against Miami (Ohio).
The Dukes will travel to Logan, Utah to face Utah State on Sept. 23, 2023, with the Aggies making a trip to Harrisonburg on Sept. 13, 2025. This will be the first two meetings ever between JMU and USU.
With the addition of Utah State, JMU's game at Miami (OH), which was originally scheduled for Sept. 23, 2023, has been rescheduled for Sept. 16, 2028. JMU's home game with the RedHawks is still slated for Sept. 26, 2026.
To date, JMU has 19 future non-conference games scheduled between 2023 and 2034.
JMU just completed its first season as a member of the Sun Belt Conference and transitioning to the FBS level with an 8-3 overall record. It also went 6-2 in conference play to finish tied atop the East Division.
The Dukes open the 2023 season on Saturday, Sept. 2 when they host Bucknell at Bridgeforth Stadium. Season tickets for the 2023 season will go on sale in January.
