Lacrosse At No. 21 In National Poll

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – James Madison lacrosse remained at No. 21 in the ILWomen/IWLCA Division I Poll, the organizations announced on Monday.

The Dukes topped Ohio State 15-4 on Friday in Columbus to win their third straight game and improve to 3-2.

In the victory, redshirt sophomore Isabella Peterson scored five goals while senior Brittany Bill recorded her first career hat trick. The Dukes held an opponent to their fewest goals since April 14 of last season behind nine saves from Molly Dougherty and a career-high five ground balls from Mairead Durkin.

JMU will play at Penn State on Wednesday before returning to Sentara Park for a 1 p.m. contest against Rutgers on Saturday. The Scarlet Knights have started 6-0 on the season and came in at No. 13 in Monday's poll.
