HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison men's soccer revealed its spring 2024 schedule featuring five play days that includes two professional clubs and a round-robin tournament, head coach
Paul Zazenski announced Wednesday morning.
"We think this spring could challenge us more than ever before," said Zazenski. "We have lined up two professional opponents, University of Maryland, American University, and a multi-team tournament at the St. James complex. We have an experienced group coming back from a very high-level fall 2023 team. We are looking to formulate a new team dynamic, against high level competition, that will better prepare for the fall of 2024 season."
The Dukes will kick off the spring with a pair of road matches against professional clubs. The opening of the spring will be on Feb. 24 in the capital of the Commonwealth as JMU takes on the Richmond Kickers out of USL League One. It'll then head to Leesburg, Va. to take on the USL Championship club Loudoun United on March 2.
JMU will host a pair of matches at Sentara Park as well, welcoming American on March 23 and ending the spring with a contest against Maryland on April 20. In between the two matches, the Dukes will compete in the St. James Tournament on April 6 in a round-robin style tournament featuring other Division I teams in the area.
