Mohammed Signs with Wadi Delga FC

CAIRO, Egypt – Former James Madison forward Suwaibatu Mohammed has signed her first professional contract with the Wadi Degla Football Club of the Egyptian Premier League.
Mohammed finished out her five-year career in 2023 by helping lead the Dukes to an at-large bid into the NCAA Championship, the first NCAA appearance for the program since 2015. She played in 22 matches with 21 starts as she earned All-Sun Belt First Team and All-Southeast Region Second Team honors. She logged 19 points for the season, consisting of seven goals and five assists.
In her career at JMU, she played in 84 matches with 40 starts. She graduated with a degree in Health Sciences this past spring.
