HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Athletics announced its full promotional schedule for the 2024-25 Men's Basketball season.
The Dukes will host 15 regular-season games this season at the Atlantic Union Bank Center in their quest to defend the Sun Belt Title. James Madison is entering its third season as a member of the conference.
The promotional slate kicks off on
Monday, Nov. 4, as JMU hosts its first MAC-SBC Challenge opponent, the Ohio Bobcats, here in the Friendly City. Early arriving fans will have a chance to snag a 2024-25 JMU men's basketball team poster. Students, arrive early to snag a free Monday Night Basketball T-Shirt while supplies last.
The Hoop for Troops game will be on
Tuesday, Nov. 12. All veterans and current military members in attendance will be honored during the game, and veterans will receive a gift from JMU Athletics!
Fans, mark your calendars for
Nov. 29, as JMU will host in-state foe, the George Mason Patriots, in the Black Friday Black Out Game. There will be a JMU beanie giveaway available for all fans while supplies last. Be on the lookout for a Black Friday ticket deal as well!
Save the date for your golden opportunity to watch the Dukes take on the ETSU Buccaneers on
Tuesday, Dec. 3. Fans, let's cover the Atlantic Union Bank Center in gold, as this is the Gold Rush game! Early arriving fans will have a chance to receive a special JMU gold rally towel giveaway.
The JMU Faculty & Staff Appreciation game will be on
Thursday, Jan. 2. All JMU faculty and staff in attendance will receive a gift courtesy of CommonWealth One. It's also Superhero Night, as our community first responders will be honored during the game. First responders in attendance will receive a gift from JMU Athletics. There will also be a themed poster giveaway available for all fans while supplies last.
Four games have been designated as color-out games for JMU Nation. All JMU fans are encouraged to wear black on
Nov. 29, wear gold on
Dec. 3, wear white on
Jan. 18 vs App State, and wear purple for the TowneBank Royal Rivalry game versus Old Dominion on
Feb. 1.
Calling all JMU students to the Atlantic Union Bank Center on
Saturday, Feb. 1 for the return of the Electric Zoo! Be loud and show the Monarchs the true power of purple. Arrive early to grab a free Electric Zoo T-Shirt and rally towels while supplies last.
Celebrate the Class of 2025 on
Saturday, Feb. 22! The Dukes are scheduled to take on Georgia Southern for their final home game of the regular season.

James Madison Athletics has introduced cashless operations for all home athletics competitions. The cashless operations apply to stadium ticketing operations as well as all concessions, which are operated by campus dining vendor, JMU Dining, and stadium bookstore merchandise sales, which are managed by Follett.
Fans looking to make purchases at any JMU Athletics events will need to have a debit or credit card accessible. Concessions and Team Stores will accept all versions of mobile pay (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay). Reverse ATM's will not be offered at any venues, fans are encouraged to make sure they have a debit or credit card available prior to entry.
