 JMU HEADS TO HUNTINGTON
The James Madison (24-3, 11-3 SBC) men's basketball team begins a four-game stretch on the road, starting with a game against Marshall (12-15. 7-7 SBC), as the Dukes wrap up their season away from home over the next two weeks.

 HISTORICALLY SPEAKING VS. MARSHALL
Â
JMU and Marshall have met seven times dating back to their inaugural meeting which took place in Huntington (Dec. 7, 2010). The Thundering Herd won that contest 67-63, but the Dukes have a 5-2 advantage in the all-time series.
The last two iterations of the matchup have taken place in Harrisonburg, with the teams splitting. JMU came away with a 67-52 win last month (Jan. 20).
The Dukes have won the last two games that have been on the road at Marshall.
In the team's last visit to West Virginia, JMU defeated the Thundering Herd 72-66 (Dec. 31, 2022). Terrence Edwards Jr. and Noah Freidel each scored in double figures to lead the Dukes' road victory.

Marshall is led by Obinna Anochili-Killen who has started in 24 games and is averaging a team-best 15.5 points per game. In his career, Anochili-Killen has played 111 games and averaged 10.4 points.
Wednesday's game will be the 150th of Kamdyn Curfman's career. This ranks 33rd across active Division I players. Curfman is averaging 13.1 points per game this season, shooting 32.3 percent from three and 34.7 percent from the field.
Entering Wednesday, the Thundering Herd have lost three-straight (Troy, App State, and Coastal Carolina).
Marshall currently holds the seventh spot in the Sun Belt Conference standings.
 DUKES ROAD TEST
After completing their home schedule with a 14-1 record at the Atlantic Union Bank Center, the Dukes complete their regular season with four games on the road. The team is 8-2 in road games. They have tied the program record for the most wins in a season (24), which was originally set by the 1981-82 team, led by Lou Campanelli.
On Tuesday, Terrence Edwards Jr. was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week following a week where he produced 47 points, eight rebounds and six assists while shooting 62 percent from three (8-of-13).
This was the third time Edwards earned the honor, and the fifth time a Duke was named Player of the Week by the conference this season (T.J. Bickerstaff, twice).
Â
 WHAT'S AT STAKE
Marshall holds an 8-5 record at home and look to snap a three-game losing streak following three games on the road.
The Sun Belt Conference Tournament picture is shaping up, and both teams are vying for a better spot. Marshall still has a shot at reaching a top-four position, as Louisiana (9-5 SBC) is still within reach. Meanwhile, the Dukes are currently in second but have not locked their spot down yet. App State holds a one-game advantage for first in the conference (12-2).
