Holloway Advances to Finals as Dukes End Day One at NCAA Zone Diving Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. – Alexa Holloway advanced to the finals on the 1-meter board to highlight the first day for the James Madison divers at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships in DeNunzio Pool, hosted by Princeton.
Joining Holloway on the 1-meter board on the first day of Zones were Natalie Jones, Lexi Lehman and Kate Vitolo. All qualified by scoring at least 265.00 during the season.
Holloway finished tied for 12th in the prelims with a score of 259.05 before taking a finals finish of 14th behind a total score of 519.10. Scores from prelims carry over to the finals instead of resetting.
In the prelims, Vitolo scored a 246.65, Lehman notched a score of 184.90 and Jones recorded a score of 181.30.
All four will be back in action for the second day of Zones on March 12 for the 3-meter board and will be joined by Maddie O'Mera.
