Quoting Head Coach Christy Morgan
"We played fundamentally sound and a connected style of hockey with great skill shown today that created lots of opportunities. To have Elena score her first collegiate goal and Alice score three goals was beautiful. We're super excited to earn this win and even more excited to go on the road to play another MAC [Mid-American Conference] team in Ohio. We have a strong drive playing in a conference and are excited for what's ahead."

- The last time an opponent failed to register a shot on goal was 2021 in a 7-0 win over Davidson on Sept. 26. Moreover, Towson did not take a shot against the Dukes in a 12-0 loss on Oct. 1, 2016.
