HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison women's golf Head Coach
Tommy Baker announced the signings of Kate Sowers and Georgia Blount to aid agreements on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
"We are very excited for the future of our program with the additions of Georgia Blount and Kate Sowers!" Baker said. "With their addition our program takes its next steps to competing for conference championships and more!"
Blount joins the Dukes from St. Mary's, Ga., while Sowers hails from West Middlesex, Pa. Both will join JMU for the 2026-27 season.

Baker on Sowers: "Kate is a proven winner at the junior level and will undoubtedly continue at JMU. She brings a quiet confidence and is going to be fun to watch over her four years as a Duke. Not only will she be great on the course, but she will be an exceptional ambassador for the program."
