- James Madison and George Mason will meet for the 98th time on Saturday, Nov. 29, in Fairfax, Va.

DUKES EARN PAIR OF WINS IN MIAMI
- JMU picked up a pair of wins at the FIU MTE on Monday and Tuesday, downing FIU 80-72 and Omaha 88-77.Â
- The Dukes picked up their first true road win of the season on Monday, downing the FIU Panthers 80-72.Â
- Justin McBride scored a career-high 26 points, and James Madison men's basketball held FIU to 1-of-14 shooting in the final minutes to pull away for the win the Panthers on Monday night.Â
- The Dukes secured 25 offensive rebounds, tying a school record set in 1989. JMU outrebounded FIU 56-41 for the game, its most rebounds since finishing with 65 against Keystone on Dec. 3, 2023.
- Along with McBride's 26 points, Bradley Douglas added 11 points on 9-of-10 free throw shooting. Christian Brown tallied a career-high 11 rebounds and blocked a shot, and Eddie Ricks III pitched in eight points and seven rebounds.
- Against Omaha on Tuesday, JMU tied a school-record 17 made threes and shot 32-of-58 (.552) from the floor to earn the 88-77 win over the Mavericks.Â
- JMU (5-3) finished with 28 assists on 32 made field goals while tying a program record 17 three-pointers. The Dukes led 48-32 at halftime and extended the lead over Omaha (2-5) by as many as 22 points in the second half, and cruised the rest of the way to their third straight win.

- George Mason leads the all-time series 49-48 after defeating the Dukes 66-61 in Harrisonburg last season.Â

- George Mason (5-3) shot 54.2 percent in the second half and made six of their last seven shots from the floor to hold off JMU (4-4), who finished 10-for-40 from behind the arc (.250).
- Redshirt freshman Bryce Lindsay knocked down five three-pointers and finished with a team-high 19 points, while AJ Smith tied a season-high 10 rebounds while adding two points. Elijah Hutchins-Everett finished with 10 points and six rebounds and Mark Freeman led the Dukes with four assists.
- Jalen Haynes finished with a team-leading 20 points and eight rebounds to lead the Patriots. K.D. Johnson (14) and Darius Maddox (13) also scored in double figures for GMU, who recorded 34 points in the paint.

- George Mason sits at 7-0 this season entering Saturday's contest. The Patriots are 5-0 at home this season inside EagleBank Arena.Â

- JMU had a record-setting two-game stretch at the FIU MTE in Miami on Monday and Tuesday, tying three single-game program records.Â
- The Dukes had 25 offensive rebounds against FIU on Nov. 24, tying the school record. JMU also had 25 offensive rebounds on March 4, 1989 against UNCW.Â
- JMU also tied a school-record 17 made threes against Omaha on Tueday. The Dukes also made 17 threes against Carlow on Nov. 10, 2021, and against Kent State on Nov. 9, 2023. The 17 threes against Omaha was the first time the Dukes have made that many in regulation against a DI team.Â
- JMU also had 28 assists against the Mavericks on Tuesday, doing so on 32 made field goals. The Dukes also had 28 assists against William & Mary on Feb. 14, 1987, and Mount St. Mary's on Dec. 18, 1991.Â
