James Madison Athletics Announces its Full Promotional Schedule for the 2025-26 Men’s Basketball Season

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Athletics announced its full promotional schedule for the 2025-26 men's basketball season. The men's basketball Dukes will host 15 regular-season games this season at the Atlantic Union Bank Center as they enter their fourth season as a member of the Sun Belt Conference, picked as the preseason favorite.

JMU opens the regular season against Washington & Lee on Nov. 5, and returns to "The Bank" on Sunday, Nov. 9 for a contest against Coppin State. Sunday's game is a double feature with the women, and fans are encouraged to take advantage of a Double Feature Deals promo by using their men's or women's game ticket for admission to both games!

After a short stint away from home, the Dukes host Towson on Tuesday, Nov.18. Plan for giveaways galore – all fans should look to the sky at halftime for the coveted Chick-fil-A Cow Drop, and students can enter to win raffle prizes at the marketing table and throughout the game!

Games on Wednesday, Dec. 3 and Saturday, Dec. 6 mark the MARTIN'S Canned Food Drive games. Donate canned food items at MARTIN'S or the Atlantic Union Bank Center ticket office from November 1-30 for FREE tickets to the games against North Carolina Central and Norfolk State!

The Dukes have a month-long stretch away from The Valley but return in 2026 to start home conference play. The promotional slate continues Wednesday, Jan. 7 as the Dukes take on the Marshall Thundering Herd! Residents of The Valley can take advantage of discounted tickets at Community Day, presented by UVA Community Credit Union.

The Royal Rivalry, presented by TowneBank, is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 10 when JMU welcomes ODU to Harrisonburg. This contest represents the team's Duke Dog Reading Program (DDRP) game, presented by JMU's School of Professional & Continuing Education, where local elementary and middle school participants are invited to hit their reading goals and claim free tickets!

After an extended stint away, the Dukes roll out the purple carpet for the return of our students! Welcome Back Students is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 22 as we show our appreciation for the best student section in the Sun Belt with raffles, games and prizes!

It'll be a loud one on Saturday, Jan. 24 as the Dukes host Texas State and high school band members for High School Band Day! A raucous crowd will Break the Bank with specialty rally towels and a pregame student section activation!

Wednesday, Feb. 4 will be a Wednesday to remember as the Dukes host the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns for Wednesday Western, featuring an exclusive handkerchief giveaway for fans. JMU faculty and staff members can claim free tickets to this game through the CommonWealth One Faculty & Staff Appreciation game!

It's going to be a party at the Atlantic Union Bank Center on Wednesday, Feb. 7 when the Men's Basketball Dukes welcome the MAC to Harrisonburg for our Puppy Pound Game, presented by Chick-fil-A Harrrisonburg! Prepare to Start Waving Purple at this game by claiming your rally towel on your way into The Bank!

The Dukes are back in action on Thursday, Feb. 12 as they take on Georgia Southern for Duck, Duck, Dukes! On top of a JMU-themed rubber ducky giveaway, fans will feel the love with extra giveaways for our Fan Appreciation Game, presented by Healing Touch Wellness Spa!

LOVE Our Heroes! On Valentines' Day, Saturday, Feb. 14, the Dukes want to show love to our nation's heroes during their game against App State, featuring the JMU Army ROTC contracting ceremony at halftime!

The final two home games of the regular season have the Dukes facing off in two more double features alongside the women's team on Wednesday, Feb. 25 and Friday, Feb. 27. Use your men's ticket for free admission to the women's game on the same day with our Double Feature Deals promo! On Wednesday vs. Georgia Southern, students are encouraged to get ready for Spring Break with a beach hat giveaway, courtesy of Campus View Apartments! Friday's contest against Coastal Carolina marks senior day – arrive early for a pregame ceremony!

Throughout the season, select games will feature a Kids Zone, presented by the JMU School of Professional & Continuing Education! These dates are: Jan. 10, 24; Feb. 7, 14.

CASHLESS

James Madison Athletics has introduced cashless operations for all home athletics competitions. The cashless operations apply to stadium ticketing operations as well as all concessions, which are operated by campus dining vendor, JMU Dining, and stadium bookstore merchandise sales, which are managed by Follett.

Fans looking to make purchases at any JMU Athletics events will need to have a debit or credit card accessible. Concessions and Team Stores will accept all versions of mobile pay (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay). Reverse ATM's will not be offered at any venues, fans are encouraged to make sure they have a debit or credit card available prior to entry.
