RALEIGH, N.C. – Hannah Rabb continued her strong freshman campaign with a tie for 26th place to pace the James Madison women's golf team at the City of Oaks Collegiate on Saturday afternoon.Â

Rabb's tie for 26th came in a deep 95-player field at the Lonnie Poole Golf Club and its par-72, 6,143-yard layout. The freshman from Watsontown, Pa., has finished inside the top 40 in seven of eight stroke-play tournaments this season. Rabb's closed with a 75 (+3) in her final round, which came after two scores of 79 (+7) in Friday's two rounds to finish with a 54-hole score of 233 (+17).

Senior
Tatum Walsh climbed 14 spots to tie for 35th on the individual leaderboard with a 78 (+6) in Saturday's round, closing play with a three-round aggregate of 237 after an 84 (+12) and 75 (+3) on Friday. Classmate Lauren Waxer-Gooding (82-79-79) finished two strokes behind Walsh with a 54-hole tally of 239 (+23), improving her scores every round.

As a team, JMU finished in 10th place out of 17 teams and ahead of Old Dominion, App State, and Marshall. The Dukes improved scores every round and finished with a three-round score of 949 (+85).

Freshman
Isabella Flores posted a solid tie for 48th after carding rounds of 78-81-81. Junior
Maria Atwood rounded out the JMU representation in North Carolina by tying for 87th with a 54-hole score of 255 (+39) and individual rounds of 86-83-86.

The Dukes will conclude their regular season at the Terrapin Invitational on April 6-7 in College Park, Md before heading to Point Clear, Ala., on April 14-17 for the Sun Belt Conference Championship.
