HARRISONBURG, Va. – Payton List's six-RBI day led the heroics as James Madison softball earned an 8-6 walk-off win against Binghamton and a historic 15-11 come-from-behind victory against Fordham on day two of action at Bank of the James Field at Veterans Memorial Park on Saturday evening.

JMU (10-9) combined for 23 runs on 19 hits in the two contests, highlighted by a 12-run first inning of game two against Fordham (7-11). The 12 runs scored marks the most runs in a single inning for the Dukes, since scoring 14 in the first inning against College of Charleston on May 10, 2018.

Saturday's win against Fordham also marked the largest comeback win in program history, as the Dukes came to bat in the bottom of the first inning down 9-0, to storm back and score 15 unanswered runs.

Cali Legzdin,
Reed Butler, and
Jasmine Hall each homered on the day, with List delivering two, including the walk-off two-run home run against Binghamton (11-8) in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Butler collected her second three-hit game of the season against Fordham and the third four-RBI performance of her career. The other four RBI performance came from List, which set a career-high for the redshirt sophomore, whose previous high was three, done last season.

Against Binghamton,
Kirsten Fleet settled in on in relief and pitched three innings of one-run ball to give her a team-leading five wins on the 2025 campaign.

Sydney Wells was a standout for Fordham, pacing the team with two hits, including a three-run home run in the first inning.

- Binghamton's Rachel Carey delivered a two-run shot to left center, to give the Bearcats a 2-0 lead

- Madison Edwards' 15-pitch at-bat that resulted in a base hit loaded the bases for Emily LeGrand, who gave the Dukes their first run of the game on a sacrifice fly to make it 3-1
- Romero tied the ballgame up at three with a two-run double to the left-center field gap
- The next batter was Legzdin who sent a ball over the right field fence for a 5-3 JMU lead
