DUKES WRAP UP REGULAR-SEASON ROAD SLATE AT GEORGIA STATE

James Madison men's basketball aims for its fifth straight win on Saturday, as the Dukes will face off against the Georgia State Panthers at 4 p.m. at the GSU Convocation Center in Atlanta, Ga.
JMU enters this game winners of four straight and with a record of 15-13 (7-8 Sun Belt). Georgia State is 10-18 overall but holds an identical 7-8 mark in conference games.

James Madison men's basketball picked up its fourth straight win on Wednesday night, coming away with a 67-65 win over the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers at the HTC Center in Conway, S.C.
Cliff Davis led JMU 15-13 (7-8 Sun Belt) with 22 points for his fifth 20-point game of the season. Joshua Beadle scored 31 points to lead Coastal Carolina (16-12, 8-7 Sun Belt), but missed a pair of free throws with 0.4 seconds left to give the Dukes the win.
The Dukes held a 40-16 advantage in the paint and outrebounded the Chants 40-37. While Davis was the only Duke who finished with 10 or more points, Gabe Newhof and Bradley Douglas scored nine points apiece, while Justin McBride and Eddie Ricks III added eight as eight JMU players contributed to the scoring line.

10: Justin McBride notched a pair of 20-point games last week, scoring 22 points against Georgia State and 21 against App State. He now has 10 20-point games this season, one of six Sun Belt players with that mark and one of nine JMU players to do so in the last 20 seasons.
43: JMU freshman Christian Brown finished with a block Wednesday against Coastal, bringing his 2025-26 season total to 43. He is now second on the JMU all-time freshman list for blocks, trailing only Andre Nation (47, 2012-13).

Cliff Davis tallied a season-high 26 points, Justin McBride added 22 points, and James Madison men's basketball held on for an 81-79 overtime win over Georgia State on Thursday, Feb. 12, at the Atlantic Union Bank Center.
JMU (13-13, 5-8 Sun Belt) led 70-66 with two minutes left in regulation but Georgia State (9-17, 6-7 SBC) scored four straight to force overtime. In the extra period, Davis finished at the rim with eight seconds left to break the tie and give the Dukes the win after a stop on the defensive end.
Davis' 26 points surpassed his previous season high, as the guard knocked down 6-of-10 (.600) from behind the arc and recorded a career-high five steals. McBride finished 10-of-18 from the floor and corralled a team-best nine rebounds, while Kose Egbule tallied a season-high seven assists.
JMU won its seventh straight game against Georgia State, improving to 12-9 against the Panthers.
