JMU Finishes #17 in Final IWLCA Coaches’ Poll

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – James Madison lacrosse has received the #17 ranking in the final IWLCA Division I Coaches' Poll of the 2026 season, as announced on Tuesday.
JMU received its 11th straight bid to the NCAA Championship, advancing as far as the second round. The #17 ranking is the Dukes' highest of the season, placing as high as #15 in the RPI.
James Madison collected four top-25 wins this season, including a victory over #16 Notre Dame in the first round of the NCAA Championship.
JMU finished the season 14-7, winning its second straight American Conference tournament title.
